Be Thankful

The holidays are a mix of emotions – merriment and joy but also sadness for those that have left us.

I hosted my first Thanksgiving dinner in 1984 with the help of my dad. Over the years the faces around the table have changed. This year is the biggest change as my dad will not be here. I had no way of knowing that Thanksgiving and Christmas 2020 would be the last ones I would spend with him. Change is not always easy. Cherish those that you love. The time you spend with them now will be your future memories. Make them good ones. I want to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. Be grateful for what you have and the people in your life. I know I am.
